Canon SD1200 IS vacation shots

Here are some new shots from the SD1200 camera. First an ISO 400 shot with a 100% crop showing the relatively good noise performance of the small 10 Mpixel sensor.

READ SOME BAD REVIWS ABOUT THE RESOLUTION BUT I CAN SEE THE MACRO LOOKS PRETTY GOOD AT 100%

HOW WOULD YOU COMPARE THE 1220 WITH 480? I ALREADY OWN A CANON G10 SO I AM GOING FOR PORTABILITY AND SIZE.

Yeah, it's not bad at all for a compact camera in my opinion. If the ISO goes up, details are lost.

Photo wise, I think the 1200 and 780 are similar enough that it does not matter. You will not be selling any photos on any stock photo site from either camera. But you can preserve many memorable moments and also get a nice photo on the wall. Works for me...

Yep, I am sold on it and I am going to buy it. It is at a good price at Wal-Mart and Target. I just have to hold it to see how light it is. It is at $169 online, but add to that shipping, and it is not worth the wait.

Thanks for the review!
